Hear The "Ka-Ching"

It was almost one in the morning when a friend buzzed me through YM. He was asking me for any good online casino sites and the thing was, I was not quite really sure which site I could recommend to him. This was because there are tons of such sites online and it would depend upon a person's tastes as per which site would be fine.

What I did instead was I looked for a list of the best of the lot and shared the list with him. Now that made my friend happy for he found that list to be really helpful. Imagine looking at screenshots of the various online casino sites and having information on how each site is rated. You at least get a glimpse of which one would work best for you.

Thanks to search engines, I found the site. I wonder who else would buzz me up in the middle of the night to ask for good online recommendations.

Muchas Grasas

Last night, we watched a play which starred a colleague. He played a pulubi (beggar) and he did it real well. The whole thing was about the struggle for power even for those who live on other people's garbage.

Honestly, I loved the play. It had a social message and it also was something fun. I mean, we were all guffawing with laughter for most of the scenes. For 20php, that play was definitely even more than what we paid for.

That made me reminisce those times back in college when we would be required by some subjects to watch plays. Although the tickets were priced quite high for us students, still the experience of being able to watch a work of art is really something you would not forget.

Kudos Emil!

Slots Like Any Other

New York has its own lure. And Las Vegas has got its own too.

I've been watching CSI: Las Vegas seasons 3 and 4 and I'm having a grand time. I like it when they take on cases connected to those casino houses and they try to find out how a murder took place. That's the lure that Las Vegas has on me.

I also recently watched Ocean's 13 and I loved it when they learned how to win at a hotel's casino slots with some outside help. And I loved it. I think I wanna learn how to do that.

The nearest thing I can get to slots would be online slot machines which allow me to win various prizes. Although a slot machine does seem to look like winning there is merely because of pure luck or chance, I think that there's some kind of mathematical rig that goes with it. I dunno.

I must have been watching far too many movies and TV series set in Las Vegas.

Now On Our Second Month

We all are now on the 2nd month of the year. So far, the only thing I have accomplished was changing my habits during my weekend. See, instead of being out with friends during those two days, I stay at home. All day. And me and my kid watch videos and play and talk and tinker with the computer. It's me-and-my-son time during those days.

The last day of January ended yesterday and me and my colleagues went out for some food. The food did not last long for we all had our stomachs grumbling with hunger. Then came the alcohol. Three buckets. It also did not last long. But it was fun talking about tons of things that induce laughter thus releasing stress.

We went home at around 10:30pm. I was planning to watch more Reynaldo Lapuz clips over at YouTube but since it was already late, I was prioritizing CSI. I watched one episode and went to lalaland.

Now I'm doing research on the effects of lack of sleep and I still have not found anything significant. That's why I've decided to write about it.

Thoughts On Domain Registration

During the early days when I was quite new to web sites and the Internet, one of my goals was to find a good domain registration site. I wanted my very own domain because I thought it was cool. It is interesting to note though that there are tons of good sites that allow you to register your own domain - just the way you want it to be. And hassle is something that you would seldom find. All you need is a good feel of the web and a credit card and you're off to having your own domain.

I thought that domains was all there was to web sites but when a former colleague informed me that there was also the need for a good web hosting site, I had him explain to me why would I need that when I already had my own domain. Now I know that domains and web hosting come hand in hand. Now I feel silly. But it doesn't hurt to ask.

Me buying my own domain and getting my own web hosting package is not something like mission impossible and I may want to (again) have my own in the future. But not right now. I'm fine with free blog sites and they still work well for me. Maybe when I decide to start my own business online.
