New Year's Resolutions? Nah.

I honestly do not believe in the philosophy that you have to be extra kind or extra gracious or extra loving during special occasions like Christmas. I mean, really. If you really wanted to do something, why wait for the season just to do it? Apologies to those who believe in it but I just don't.
The same principle also goes true for me for New Year's resolutions. I believe that I can change whatever I want to change or do whatever I want to do any time of the year and not just during the New Year. That is why I don't think of any stuff I make during the end of the year as resolutions but as plans. See, I can plan on something any time of the year and still be able to do it. And mind you, my mind can change in a snap so much so that I would have forgotten that I wanted to do this at the start of the year and decided to do another one during the third month.
That is why right now, I'm going to list some of what I plan to do. Bear with me or if you feel like this entry would be the death of you, I advice you to go ahead and read other blogs instead.
I will save up. Although I have been able to save much this year, I still need to change my money-spending habits so much so that I spend less and save more. Although that may be difficult, I am more than willing to give my very best.
I will purchase more stuff that will remind me of what I had invested in. I may have been able to save much this year but I was also able to buy a couple of stuff which I could say has been the efforts of hard work and determination. Haha. Some of the stuff I have bought include a personal computer, a mobile phone, and tons of original VCDs.
I will spend more time at home. One of the reasons why I spend much time away from the house is that I often get disturbed by the ruckus created by my son and my sisters. But now, all I need to do is play the Barney CD and my son will go silent while staring at the TV screen. Peace and quiet in an instant.
I will go to Manila at least twice a year. I have been planning to go to Manila that much each year but I wasn't able to do that this year. I hope I would be able to this 2008.
I will spend more time writing and less time playing games. Haha. Self-explanatory.
I will try to track down my expenses. This one I gotta do so I could track where I have been spending my money. I have just realized that my mom seems to pay for the electric bill twice a month. That is not good, is it?
These are just a few of the things that I would like to do. Oh well. Uh, I forgot to include losing weight, lessening on the ciggies, and decreasing on the alcohol. I guess I could just go ahead and change some things as I go along.
